My Story
Photography started for me as a hobby, and the first three rolls of film I developed at 14 years old had a surprising amount of what I still believe to be good shots. Gradually it grew into a passion, and a few years later I felt it was time to transition from a career of a book translator into full-time photography.
As I explored the globe and studied various photography approaches and wisdom traditions, I have had the opportunity to photograph amazing human beings in a wide range of stunning locations, from Ukraine where I grew up, to Western Europe, Asia and South America where I lived, to the United States where I am now settled with my beloved husband, two wildly creative children and an poetically melancholic bassetoodle.
